It begins! Looks like DA has no problem with me posting these in PDF format, so I'll be swapping to that unless there is some complaint I don't yet know about.

Anyway, welcome to Book 2, have fun reading this monstrosity that I've been working many a month on (far longer than I thought). I'll be submitting to EqD in a few days, so enjoy before the rush?

And no, I didn't plan on releasing this AFTER the end of the season. I planned to have this posted months ago... it just worked out this way.

I really enjoyed the first book and have been looking forward to the sequel. That said, is the story being posted somewhere, like Fimfiction.net, in a non-PDF format? Sorry if this has been asked before. PDFs are a bad format to convert into MOBI or EPUB formats to load on to an ereader like Kindle. And copy/pasting from PDFs strips formatting and renders each line as a separate paragraph making it arduous to put it into a conversion friendly format.

At present time, no. Furthermore, I refuse to post to Fimfic due to issues of some content they allow on their website. Unfortunately DA will only allow my story's full length to be posted if I post it as a PDF.

As for E-readers, since I use a Kindle myself, I've not had the problem you indicated. it's possible you're using a different program than I am, however. I use "Calibre" for my conversion needs, and have had no problems (admittedly HTML ports over cleaner than PDF, but pdf converts pretty well, with only some odd spacing issues and occasional unrecognized characters).

Well... something to balance the odd decision to have a ‘mandatory 100% pure female team/Elements bearers’, of the previous stories...

Honestly, for a second, I feared it would be a dumb ‘female supremacy VS male supremacy’(or a large/heavy focus on it) story, hidden behind some random villain... It doesn’t ‘’look’’ like it will be the case, so far.
Which is encouraging.

Well, Celestia is a Princess and divinity... thus her jurisdiction is sometimes as big as she wants it to be. In this case, you are correct. I partially address that in Chapter 1 (okay, just a passing reference).

Hence why two of the guards were making constant rounds around the tent. Besides, Celestia and the ponies inside would've noticed someone come in, and entering it was the only way they could have gotten around Celestia's spell.

Eh, I made my call on that one way back in Book 1, so I'm running with the idea.

Oddly, this isn't... exactly the case. More will be explained in time.

And yes, I had this planned for a while, even back in Book 1. This was the first thread that told me there would be far more to the story. More, you might be surprised where the "dumb male" side is going as well, but I won't ruin future plot points.

-I'm not sure to understand what you mean ?
What I essentially said was : I hope this isn't a ''female supremacy VS male supremacy(or a large/heavy focus on it)'' story. 'That' would make for a rather poor base for a 'good' story, *IF* it was the case.

What I mean is that the original "all females" on the Elements of Harmony team is what tripped off the signs in my head that there was going to be more than just "book 1". A New Breed was only going to be those 20-some chapters initially, that part of the story changed it.

As for the rest, I'm saying you may be multiple parts disappointed, surprised, and hopefully in the end, happy with how I handled it.
