Birdo in the Hand (pt 1)

And so begins a four picture art trade with ChasoCroc (chaoscroc.deviantart.com/) here on DA. This was a fun little series that started out with a simple request. Croc wanted me to draw a Birdo princess again... and then draw her corrupted in the end. Of course, the more I thought about it, the less simple it got...

So we start here, with a nice look at our (bored) Birdo Princess, dreaming for her Prince to come sweep her away from the monotony...

Lessons learned: That perspective took me four tries to get right, and I STILL mucked up some background elements...  Ah well, this is one I'm rather pleased with.
