Cassandra and Sophitia

Another goodie from 2003 here (hard to believe it was 10 years ago, amirite?), this time in the form of Sophitia and Cassandra, both from Soul Caliber. I had to take some minor liberties with their characters, but overall I like the composition of this one. The off kilter angle and the contrast of expressions really worked for me.

Now don't get me wrong, when Cassandra came out, I mained as her, so I really liked the characters. but she had a far more innocent and naive personality compared to the more "pure" but experience vibe her sister gave off. Honestly I liked the contrast, and it amused me to no end that the elder sister might indeed blame the younger for "getting her into this mess".

On a more practical side, I love how Cassandra's hogtie came out, the way that strap runs down her back gives off such a wonderful sense of strictness to me. ^_^
