A Fallout: Equestria Short Story: Two Bits

This was a strange bit of inspiration that took less than a week to see its way down and written. The simple thought struck me one day, in Fallout (and by extension, FoE), all the raiders have some rather unique hairstyles. Some of them looked as if they hacked them off themselves, but others are quite fancy regardless of how you judge them. That inspired wondering what sort of person would cut the hair of the raiders?

So, the fact I'm still on the whole "pony kick", meant that I immediately ponified the idea and slammed out this little story. It's a complete stand alone, it's rather unusual, but I really like how it came out. Have fun, and as always: All comments, critiques, and feedback are appreciated and encouraged!

[The following sounds really professional when I really didn't mean it to be that way]

That was a most excellent short story. Many good twists throughout (or at least good revealing of information) Nice way of fitting it with the original story at the end, too. If I had to say one thing though, I expected a little bit more development between Gut Rot and the protagonist, and honestly think the ending was, while an interesting close, kinda sudden and short, and in an entirely different direction from the rest of the story. It seemed like some moral or friendship or something would come up from the whole section with Gut Rot, but then it just got whisked away by the Stable Dweller encounter. Then there's the question of what happened to any of them, minus the narrator, who is inferred to have lived at least well past the original storyline.

In short, 8.5/10. Would recommend to others, but still iffy on the ending.
